Prisma Light arrives in Germany
A while ago, the new intelligently illuminated walking and running path in Lichtenau-Atteln was inaugurated – a project for which PrismaTibro proudly supplied the complete lighting technology. The path is unique in the region and demonstrates how modern light control can combine safety, energy efficiency, and care for nature.
Extensive Tunable White installation
The new installation consists of a total of 44 luminaires with Tunable White technology:
- 42 × Prisma Light Elton Tunable White, of which 4 are fully solar- and battery-powered
- 2 × Prisma Light Ellie Tunable White
Thanks to solar panels, even areas where cable routing was not possible could be included in the lighting system.
Intelligent presence-controlled lighting
The luminaires are equipped with advanced motion sensors that automatically raise the light to full level when a person approaches the path.
When no presence is detected, the light dims and shifts to 1800 Kelvin – a warm and soft light that minimizes disturbance to nocturnal animals and insects.
Communicating luminaires in a smart network
All luminaires form an interconnected network where each unit communicates with the others. Movement information is forwarded through the system, creating a seamless lighting experience along the entire route.
Full control via digital dashboard
The installation is monitored and controlled via an app usable on both laptop and smartphone. The system enables:
- monitoring of energy consumption
- error indication and operational control
- setting dimming levels
- adjusting on/off times
- configuring all relevant functional parameters
This provides the municipality with a flexible solution offering high operational reliability and optimal energy use.
For us at PrismaTibro, this project is an excellent example of how modern lighting technology can create attractive, sustainable, and user-friendly environments – benefiting people, animals, and future generations.
